Specializing in unique custom floral designs

Creating wonderful wedding bouquets and arrangements,
while keeping prices within your means

Bring pictures of your ideal wedding flowers or browse through lovely floral design books and magazines (our favorite ideas typically come from British and French floral designers, though Martha Stewart always comes in handy).

Pick and choose from your favorite flowers. Go simple or exotic. Mix and match for a look which is solely your own. Add lots of interesting greens to your arrangements and keep your costs down.

Some great botanicals to consider for your wedding...

Hydrangea Sweet peas Lemon leaves (salal)
Tulips Peonies Magnolia leaves
Delphinium Larkspur Seeded Eucalyptus
Roses Orchids Hanging Ivy
Wild flowers

Flowers picked from the garden
Add fruits or exotics to your arrangements

“Rent an Arrangement”

Consider renting your wedding arrangements and get more for your money. Generally, you need these floral designs for only one day so why buy them? Table arrangements add up (because you have to buy so many). With "rent an arrangement" we buy great-looking containers and recycle them so you don't have to. We also use preserved greens and dried flowers as "fillers" to add beauty and keep down expenses. The costs for renting floral arrangements are typically about half of the purchase price.

Representative pricing is as follow...

Bridal bouquets $85 and up
Bridesmaid bouquet $55-75
Boutonnieres $7.50
Corsages $15.50
Small table arrangements $20-35 each (rental)
Medium-sized table arrangements               $35-45 each (rental)
Very large floor and arrangements $65 and up (rental)

We charge our cost (wholesale) for additional fresh flowers (Note: florists normally charge 3 to 5 times wholesale cost per stem.)

You might consider purchasing table arrangements made with dried botanicals that you can then give away as gifts to friends and family. Just a thought, but they make great keepsake gifts. Better yet, keep one for yourself as a memento of a great occasion.

Please contact Barbara Von Elm, Growing Wild Floral Company, at (540) 364-6246 to set up an appointment to visit and discuss possibilities. (There is no charge for this.). Evening and weekend consultations are fine.
